In this task I felt like I have learnt a lot in terms of analysing our own and other films. Whilst analysing the film Kidulthood, it had made us realise how similar it is to our film. I fee like we have made a fairly good story line with it being quite easy to understand when watching it. Whilst looking through the different conventions, we have realised that by adding different parts of the Mise en scene is perfect for these sorts of films. For example, we added blood making it look realistic whilst adding tension. We felt like we did this quite well and overall feel like this is a success for us. Looking through the screenshots shows the similarities with both ours and kidult hood film. The costumes and acting is very similar with them both including young actors and the same choice of weapons.
